Howdy folks. Quick announcement, and then I'll let youse get back to sleep/reading fanfic, whichever it is depending on your timezone.
It's called garbage can, not garbage can't.

Hey there. I've got a small backlog of stories I'm working through; already up is Disaster Rarity, which I think placed pretty high in a speedwrite contest it initially featured in before I expanded it further and edited it, and the contest entry for the 1000 words contest, an epistolary narrative between two of my favourite horses. Not
Howdy. Quick preface; for years I've tended to not do reviews of incomplete stories because, given the choice, I tend to prefer reviewing the complete thing. I believe it's perfectly possible to recommend stories that are incomplete or unfinished, but as I decided to pick and choose what I wanted way more, I decided to afford myself this small luxury.
Hey hey!
Quick update. The AppleDash contest seems to be delayed, so who knows when that'll start again. With luck they'll bring in some other judges as well so we don't get left in the dark for too long if things go a bit screwy, but who knows. The Cadance contest story is up and available to be read! It only got very meta, which is nice, so give it a read if you haven't already. Link below.
Hey hey folks.
Looks like this month is going to be a busy one for Hap; there are currently at least three large contests out there to participate in, and you know how much I like those.
There's an AppleDash contest, a Cadance contest, and a FiO contest. It'll be a struggle to try and write for all of them but, well, I'll be giving it my best shot anyhow. I already have an idea or two for the AD one; still brainstorming the other two.
Howdy.
You might have been in the fandom for a while and noticed that some people dislike precious Glimmy. You might note them cite reasons why they dislike her. Perhaps her nonsensical motivation for villainy and equalisation? Perhaps her questionable and dubious ethical orientations? Do people insist that she is forced in episodes?
Yes. Yes they do. And I've had to listen to them for half a decade. It's been great. I feel great.
Hey hey hey, everyone.
On the 11th of September, we launched this Change of Pace contest with the hope that it’d stand out from other contests and promote a new opportunity to try out a different kind of writing challenge, and I personally very much hope that everyone found it engaging, interesting, and a good opportunity to learn new things.
I did, however, also promise prizes, which means I’ve got to announce winners.
Time!
If your story is still going through submissions or there's just been some kind of unfortunate delay, let me know and I'll sort you out. As of now, however, the entire world should be entering the 1st of November. Hope you all had a spooky Halloween!
You've got just under a month left, boys and girls!
If this is the first time you've heard about this contest (with, I remind you, £100 prize money for first place!), then check it out here! If not, then get cracking! I will be supremely grumpy if I have to give all that money to myself because nobody entered.
