No, no, no. It's a great story, but you seriously need an editor. I can't... *uggh*
6296549 Yeah, I know. I seriously had no spare time for an editor or even to edit myself during the event. I admit that a lot of padding was used on this story to reach my goal of 30,000 words, but the thing with the actual NaNoWriMo is that it's more of an endurance. You set a goal, and then you write a certain amount of words per day (for example: the goal is 30,000 words and your daily would be 1,000). I couldn't go back and edit myself because it's time consuming and I had a deadline (as well as school).
As for hiring an editor, I had a really bad experience with one last summer. Long story short he pretty much quit on me without a notice. I PM'd him every two or three weeks to check on his progress, and it's either not done or he's been busy. I'm not mad at him, I understood that he had other important things to do.
And lastly, I've moved on since I finished this thing 9 months ago, I have no intentions on hiring or editing myself because I've moved on to other things. I've even moved on from Fan-Fiction all together. I'm working on my own novel right now (it's about 13 chapters long). almost 3 months in the making, but I've been giving each chapter a week to edit. Trust me, so far it looks a LOT better than this.
I'm sorry to hear your complaint, but I have no interest in editing or hiring someone to edit this. I've moved on from Fimfiction.
