I enjoy the way that Luna takes pride in her artistry in creating the Harvest Moon! Being a cooperative sort of person, I like the idea that alunar eclipse can only happen if the sun, earth, and moon are aligned, making Celestia part of Luna's masterwork (in a subordinate role).

Nice story! I would have preferred it be linger, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I spotted a few mistakes, though. I won't be able to point them all out, but you used "thy" in place of "my" a few times. That is incorrect. "Thy" is a second person possessive.
