I think Luna is acting really out of character. I'd think she was acting out of character even if I hadn't read The Journal of the Two Sisters. Interesting story, though.
6413577 Sorry for the late response; I'm probably not nearly as active on this site as I should be.
I'll admit, Luna is one of the more difficult characters for me to characterize; it was tricky for me to pin down what I wanted her character to be like, given how few appearances she has had in canon. Season 5 thankfully provided more to work with.
She honestly more of a plot device in this story than anything, but she will play a large role in at least one of the 2-3 "main" stories I'm setting in this "atramentverse", if I can eventually get around to finalizing and publishing them. Given my weakness with Luna, I hope I can at least make her character consistent and interesting within this universe, if not perfectly matching with the show.
That said, I'm open if you want to point out any specific characterization issues you found in this story. It might help me improve my presentation to the readers.
