5049946 Actually, I'm a bit of a fanfic vet, I've been at it for several years now, most of my stuff is just sitting on my flash drive. My forte is randomness, however, I cannot avoid it turning into something more, which is going to happen.
To be fair, his actual bestest best friend has no real interest in chaos, so she wouldn't make a very good draconequus. Pinkie makes a much better chaos partner than Fluttershy does, if by "better" you mean "more chaotic", and of course that's what Discord means. :-)

This is a wonderful piece of randomness; a trait that I excel in, it is little more than that, but it is evolving over time as most of my random stories do.
So, ultimately, you'll have to wait and see.

5089071 In response to both of your comments; no I unfortunately do not have an artist who I can have make pictures for my stories, and the only friend I do know who does draw would refuse under fact that she's not skilled enough, let alone we've lost contact with each other because she's gone to collage.
As for the Kirin being an actual mythological beast; yes, very much so :D It is a Chinese originated creature, a chimera between a dragon and a horse, said to only appear after the death of a sage, to represent the hope that a new sage will appear.
On the power scale of the Chinese mythological beasts, it is ranked third under the phoenix and the dragon, but it is also included in Japanese folklore, and is actually ranked as the strongest, above the phoenix and the dragon.
I have, of course, like the staff of MLP, taken liberties with the overall design of the creature though so it is much more appealing.
