Finally allowed to camp by themselves, the Cutie Mark Crusaders are determined to make the most of their freedom. Passing back and forth stories, Scootaloo is struck by a particular request, and the memories of a long buried incident flood her mind.

Dark like coal in an abandoned mineshaft at midnight.
But really very compelling. Upvoted, favorited, etc.
Yep, the ending hits as hard as I remember it from the sneak peek. I'm really glad to see you posting this.
AP is back, ladies and gentlemen. Rev up those feels engines.
That was pretty cool.
Well, I'm intrigued... also, welcome back! You've been missed!
And that sick, twisting feeling in my throat was my heart trying to escape.
Goddamn man. I... I just really hope none of this is so vivid because of personal experience.
I've been there.
I wish my alcoholic crack head of a mother was dead. But she's gone anyway, and hasn't had an effect on my life in 8 years. Anyway this struck home in a big way.
I don't get the ending. Sorry.

Scootaloo sold them a line of bullshit. We read the real 'worst' thing she's ever done, while she suckered the other Crusaders with something relatively innocent.
Though I think it's arguable that killing her father was a service to the community at large and morally correct. And that her mother probably should've gotten the same treatment as her father.
I am very glad that didn't give scootaloo her cutie mark.
I can't stand this ending. I don't know why it's just after all of that great build up she just feeds them that bullshit. It's been bgging me for like a week so thought I'd just get that out there.
Scootaloo is best criminal mastermind!
