So I want to read a foalcon clopfic, but I'm horrified by the story cover and this is tagged Dark.

My question is, will the story reflect the cover pic in any way or should I consider this safe to read without giving me nightmares? I don't mind dark, but deformed monstrous characters and/or gore is something I'd like to avoid (I don't see a gore tag).

From your name, I'm tempted to tell you that this is a perfectly safe story and you should read this without fear, but since your picture's alter ego is a leader of one of my cults I suppose I should at the very least do you this favour.

There will be some blood, but not enough to warrant a gore tag on a mature story. Of all the other things you specifically mentioned you want to avoid, there's plenty of that to go around. And worse.

And if you're horrified by the story cover, wait till you meet me...

4893712 This is Man-Child. Sage of Story opened my acct. at ff.net back when I didn't know how to operate there. I've sort of lost touch with her now, I'm afraid.

And yeah, "Omnipinkie" is sort of my thing. I actually got into writing MLP fics to defend Pinkie from the "evil clown" creepypastas everyone was writing at one time (they're not so prevalent now, thank goodness; Pinkie's back!). So as sort of a parody I decided to write a fic where Pinkie really is what Pennywise was, except she's as good and sweet as she is on the show, because that's the kind of Omnipinkie she would be. My first story was a simply anti-cupcakes fic where Pinkie meets Dash right after the latter wakes up from That Dream. But I've also added a couple more "Omnipinkie" stories since that time. Maybe you'll check them out?

And 29 is really nothing, I'm afraid. I'm just not a very good or active writer any more. Many of those fics at the other site are old fics I had on my system and just decided to post them so they wouldn't be lost. They're not very good. And I'm afraid I can't write either action or descriptive prose worth a hoot. Most of the fics I write now (when I can get myself to do so) consist mainly of conversations. I'm afraid I don't have any high fantasy epics in me. Wish I were that good.

I'm forced to disagree, unfortunately. This was actually a brilliantly disturbing thing. The sex added something for me personally (biiiiig fan of tentacles!) but even without that it would have been Fiddlebottoms-y and surreal.
