Also, I think crackship refers to pairings that make no sense, or that you'd have to be on crack to write. Something like Gilda x Mayor Mare. Both had little screen time, both have never met each other, and they're completely different people as far as the way they act. A pairing can be unpopular, yet make sense :P Fluttershy is commonly getting in bed with the royal sisters in fanfics xD

I do a lot (though not as much as I should) of stories with Gilda and Trixie. Just on personalities they match well and are good for redemption fics. Is that a crackship? What about pony/OC fics?

Also I'm not explaining this as if I'm some expert in it or anything. I'm just saying that I don't believe Luna x Fluttershy counts as a crackship ._.

Shipping, surprisingly enough, has been around a lot longer than MLP:FiM, and the term crackshipping came about long before colorful horses kissing each other became a thing. It refers to characters who have never met in canon, with the implication that the ship has pretty big cracks in it due to utter lack of support from canon.
It has been misinterpretted by people for so long that it probably does include "you have to be on crack" sort of thinking, even though that was never the original intent.
Popularity of the ship has nothing to do with it.
As for Lunashy being a crackship, no not under any sense of the word. They have met in canon several times. There is an appealing "opposites attract" feel to the ship that fans of RariJack often like to spout. Luna is a strong and forceful, "loud" character that would be a bad match to Fluttershy on the surface, but Luna has shown she wants to learn to fit in and adapt to modern world, quiet down, and is ultimately a wise and benevolent ruler. Fluttershy would probably be quite comfortable with her, enjoying the quiet night time. Hell, she puts up with Discord.
As for the story itself, meh. You've contributed to the oh so rare futa audience. Go you. Not going to downvote, but I don't have much interest in reading it. Your description is far from compelling.

Good idea and i am personally a fan of LunaShy shipping.

Still wondering how this classifies as a crack ship, are the standards for that lower than I thought? I could have sworn it was the type of ship you had be on crack to think was good, like say Rainbow dash X The Titanic, any pony X any Thomas the tank engine character, Bob the builder's bulldozer X a pony. Stuff like that.
