Jacki Jolts is a pegasi born and raised in Cloudsdale, and throughout her whole life she has been an incredible flyer, but was always rivaled by the well known pegasi, Rainbow Dash.

The two of them were best friends as fillies, but once it became clear that only one of them could be the best, that stopped quickly.

Now it has been announced that Spitfire, leader of the Wonder Bolts, is retiring from being part of the team, and is passing down the leadership to Soarin, but they are one mare short, meaning that there must be auditions.

But the auditions are foiled by a very large and monstrous evil, and only three ponies are there to take up the plate to save Cloudsdale, and possibly even Ponyville! Well... More like two and a half ponies.
