Darkblade Stormgiggle

The antagonist, and eventual dark master, of FIMFiction. I am many things, Dear Reader, but here I am god.

T

An omnipotent, all powerful entity convinces Twilight to help it escape its imprisonment and is released into Equestria. Twilight must now keep this entity under control while doing battle with a dark conspiracy bent upon dethroning Celestia.

The gods of fan-fiction demand that I inform you that this is my first try at writing an MLP fanfic. Judge it as harshly as you would any other story.

The basis of omnipotence is the fact that there is no limitations for an omnipotent being. If it's truly omnipotent, there's absolutely nothing that can imprison, deride, or even put off it. So the concept is interesting, but an omnipotent being needing help to get out of it's prison seems a bit silly. Unless it's not really an omnipotent being, which may be the case. *Shrugs.*

Also omnipotent and all powerful mean the same thing, so you don't need to say one after another. I know most of Fimfiction's reader base is retarded, but give them a brake.

*Snort snort.*

Aw sheit the coon is edumacated. Alright cracka, get back in your cage and hide yo watamalon cause MASSAH'S COMIN.

Frankly?

The entity's crimes are... not a crime, not the way it explained. In fact, from what it sounds, this is a young deity (an embodiment/conceptual-level one) who saw a world being created and saw that, mortals being flawed, decay and die. It, very logically, tried to help them, to rid them of their decaying and make them able to exist until destroyed like it is.

So the question is... why was it imprisoned? Were the mortals of his world the type that thinks immortality is a curse and they answered its kindness with hatred?

... or is this being an "Outsider", a counter-nature monster whose idea of 'being permanent' is a horror to which death is preferable? After all, it is very probable the being lied to Twilight or simply has a logic that is too alien for it to understand how it is harming others (alternatively, it could be uninterested in learning).

I guess the next chapters will reveal that.
