Since I'm not posting stories for the time being, figured I might make use of this for an announcement for anyone wanting to comment on my userpage.
If you feel like contacting me or starting up a conversation on my user page, please feel free to do so ; I love meeting new people and talking it up. Likewise, though I probably will not post much in terms of stories in this particular fandom, this does not mean I do not appreciate inspiration. So feel free to contact me, do not be shy!

I felt upset because I specifically put my blog post at the top of my page because I didn't want this kind of spam comment. Most importantly, it makes me feels like you're just copy-pasting 'thanks for the fav' comments due to the fact that you missed the "Please do not post 'thanks for the fav' comments" in giant letters that is literally the very first thing you see when you open my user page in your mad dash to copy-paste your 'thanks for the fav' comment.
I like meeting new people, making friends, discussing ideas and theories but I dislike having my user pages on art & fanfiction sites being flooded with 'thanks for the fav' comments.

You know I feel the same way in truth. The shows alright funny but the fanfictions are where its at in my book. The Tale of Bright Blade was one of the first fanfics I read and it was great.

Well, not really into the fandom. Not proper, anyway ; I find the show to be thoroughly mediocre. However, I do appreciate the ideas of the setting and what fanfic writers make of it.
To give you a proper answer... I've been aware of the setting for a very long time and in fact, was a follower of Gen 1. Never really clicked with the following gens (including FiM, which I found dreadfully overrated) until I read Stardust and The Elements of Harmony & The Savior of Worlds, which convinced me to give the setting a second chance.
A no nonsense person eh I like that. How long you been in the fandom?

To say the truth, the layout is a bit confusing so it's really appreciated. And well, I reacted that way because of experiences on other sites, with people who basically copy/paste 'thanks for the fav' on the user page of people who fav their submissions in a way to buy goodwill. I've picked up a lot of dislike for that pratice through the years.
1219843 I'll have you know this was not automated, I am grateful. Although you would have more success with that if your post down there (the "don't thank me for faves" journal) was the first thing people saw. Like, even before your groups.
Just in case you don't know: Settings -> User page is where you change how your user page is mapped. Just scroll down past the "modules" widget and unleash your inner art student! Yeah, put him to work for something, 'cause God knows he's not gonna find a job on his own.
