Jetstream is the newly-appointed co-captain of Manehatten's elite flying team: The Manehatten Meteors.
His celebratory press conference is interrupted by the arrival of his inspiration for starting his career of flying: Rainbow Dash. Strangely, the elderly mare seems to have memories of him that he cannot recall. When her brief and confusing visit is cut short by tragedy, Jetstream is left with countless questions.
While searching for answers, he discovers one lucrative method for finding them: Self-suggested time travel.
Author's Note
Loosely based off of Christopher Reeve's "Somewhere in Time". Started writing before the end of G4 so doesn't take any of the S9 finale into account.

It’s really sad that he didn’t even get to meet her before she died but is now within like the first season of the show? I kind of wonder if he will go back in time from different points of Rainbow Dash life… oh… maybe I get why she died now. She didn’t died broken hearted he was able to go back at the time she was in the hospital to finally see her and then she passed on… that’s sad

Watched bits of the film on YouTube. So that ending was surprising I didn’t expect him to pass away so he can be with his love. So, I assume that will happen with this story which will be sad for his modern day friend to find his friend died…
