The story seems to flow too quickly near the end. Work on your paragraphs, get a space between each one and ensure that one pony talks per paragraph. If a pony talks for two paragraphs back to back, ensure you identify which one it is in the second paragraph as well. It will help with reading it.
Otherwise, this is an interesting idea.
