On the advent of her coronation, Princess "Derpy" De Raptura continues to adjust to life as Equestria's newest ruler, but soon finds that the power she was granted requires a greater sacrifice than she could ever have thought possible.
You personally don't believe in Valentine's Day. Thinking it's real reason it exists is to increase the profit of card and flower companies. To you, the holiday is meaningless. Many would say you're just sour you have nobody to spend it with.
Sunset Shimmer can't stand herself and takes rewards she gained over her high school career and starts breaking them. However there's one crown that she can't quite do that to...
Derpy has very vivid dreams, but they're so consistent that she has trouble telling what's real. Something happens that causes her further confusion. Perhaps everything is more real than she thought.
This story was fantastic! Great through-and-through! But, one thing: How could you bring human Derpy to equestria without showing Lyra her hands first?!?
4847614 dumb question, she would look at the human world and sigh "Not what I pictured" and smash the mirrors with a hammer and go home to eat pudding (LYRA: Yeah... that's my plan)
I despise Equestria Girls and this was utterly adorable. You didn't exactly turn lead into gold but more like turning uh... cantelopes into tangerines. Lordy do I hate cantelope...
5371288 fair observation. and I believe so, but... I still like her because she has so many assumptions about humanity but will be disappointed or go mad(der) and make it so that no one ever has to see it again (or kill/kidnap several humans to study them, to understand them, to publish the results if only to validate her otherworldly fascination) or, destroy the mirror/portal, go home, and drown her sorrows and disappointment in food and music
Seriously underrated, I've been enjoying re-reading this story for years before realising it has only 30 likes, while it may be slightly patchy at times, the overall flow and humour works really well.
ok interesting.
Looks cool need to read later
Drama Letter/Watermelody and Golden Hazel! Yay!
That ending gave me manly tears

she needs a time-wimey detector

You insult my favorite fruit AND misspell its name!?
There will be blood.
...wait, does tangerine juice count as blood if the tangerine is violently murdered?
4855599 That, and having Lyra in a human fic is just so cliché.

5373080 Don't get me wrong, chichés can be fun, but mostly in a non-serious setting.

If you like cantelope so much, why don't you marry it?
Oh wait, you can't.
You can't elope.
5375443 I vote pro-melon-rights.
5373699 I rarely take things seriously so I end up using (much to many of my friend's chagrin) cliché's and sayings (and puns, many puns are used)
The one that was seen singing with that one jock in rainbow rocks?
That was a good story.
