Perhaps it is more than Fate, perhaps it is even Destiny or perhaps it was simply Nature that had selected him, to become a part of something more than himself.

Is this Anthro, with weirdly colored human (like in Equestria Girls), or normal human colors and he just has a reddish skin coloring? I hope it's the latter, Anthro stories just rub me the wrong way. Anyways, interesting start, let's see what happens next chapter.
Interesting reboot, but I'm rather curious why you A) made this happen in the Human world, not too much of interest to do there comparatively, no magic, no dragons, no Elements of Harmony, no Alicorns who move the Sun and Moon through the sky, and B) why you decided to Expy Alex and Dana, rather than using Alex and Dana.
