Radiance is really a bitch (pardon the language). "I'm not going to respect your privacy or wishes and, in fact, you have insulted me for assuming I would dislike you."
Regardless what his reaction was, she's in the wrong.
Apart from that, this chapter was quite interesting and it's nice to have more information about these new characters. It would be nice to get back to Spike and the Mane-iac though.
motivational philosopher I prefer stand-up philosophers.
Hellene,”Iron. Hellene,” Iron.
Greek Captain America, nice.
So Magneto's helmet, Wonder Woman's bracers, (ha ha, Achilles joke), the Golden Fleece, something like Colossus' body, and I can't get the rest.
Wow, he really is Cap isn't he? Though with a different end point.
bounders. boulders.
“But... I mean... you... you don't look Eweish.” Hey, that's my line.
“You seems sincere. “You seem sincere.
Radiance Up. Radiance up.
DiamantHundland. While I know why you capitalized the H, it looks rather odd and would be incorrect as well.
Dear god, you made that tatzlwurm sound a hell of a lot more intimidating. It makes the Tremors wurms look like shit.
day is had. day it had.
Jarl pops out, "Now where's my fucking shoe?"
So Colossus on the outside and The Thing on the inside, sort of?
has lots. has lost.
Oh great, I see on-coming drama.
4702445 Yes she is being intrusive, but his assumption that she'd ditch him was very insulting. Both of them are in the wrong, each for different reasons.
Kagitaar hit the main points. It was disrespectful of both (Diamond actually assumed she she would be an antisheepite just because she was a pony, a bigoted idea even though he was relying on prior circumstances.) They both did wrong but they forgave each other.
I'm so glad you got the Motivational Philosopher/Stand-Up Philosopher reference. I knew that I had to make the gag once I figured out Iron's original job.
There are no perfect analogues for some of his equipment, especially the thigh shields (though those were a practicality, because a good thigh hit can kill in a minute.) But you got the ones that do conform to standard superhero stuff.
My German is admittedly BS. I've just seen compound words with capitalized internal letters.
I needed the tatzlwurm to be suitably epic. A superhero's first fight should be something awesome. Besides, that was what the thing was like in the show. It just didn't get a chance to really rampage.
You did miss an (admittedly subtle) reference. Two, actually. Rabbi Konig (King) commanding and leading Jarl (Earl, the Nordic/Germanic underling to a king). And Jarl's name was meant to combine with his Rottweiler color scheme to evoke the children's book series about Carl the Dog, a giant and intimidating Rottweiler who is a real sweetheart. Plus, you can tell this is a non-Spoiled-Barrel universe story by the Dog names. Where there they would have gem, metal and mineral names, here there are traditional dog names (like in the show and influenced by Bronystories). I didn't realize before but a lot of the traditional and cliche names are ruler names (King, Rex, Prince, Caesar, Duke). Hence Konig and Jarl.

I missed the Carl the Dog bit because I'd never heard of it, but I did get the names, I just didn't see much reason to mention them.
Oh, and antisheepite... ugh. Fucking puns.
Why do i get the feeling that Iron and Diamond work for Mane-iac and will have to betray them?
i know right
