I shipped AppleShy based on one scene from Pinkie Pride where Fluttershy is taking solace under Applejack during the reveal of the Goof Off. I know it was just a one moment joke from the writers, but why did Fluttershy choose to take cover under Applejack? (Although I did find the clip and one moment she's not under AJ and the next she is... so who knows.)
Just wait a couple of chapters... I might change my mind. I still haven't decided. But I want it to be a surprise.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Though, almost a year after I wrote it, I can't really grasp the reason why I wrote it, since AppleShy is turning into a ship that I adore. Evidenced somewhat by the second, joyous chapter. Still, this was before I started to really improve on my writing. If you liked this, I think you might like Ghost of a Rose. It's a full romance story (the sad element is there because I'd have people chewing me out for the first few chapters.
