the feels, I cant handle them....but.....I must, the story is too amazing not to read.
Anyways, nice work on this, I thought you would do something like this to fulfil Nightmare's unrequilted love (I have no idea if I spelt that right). And like before, his memories of the dream are safely sealed away to protect him. And very nice choices with the music, I felt that they gave the story a deeper sense of emotion as it lets us hear the mood. Once again, very well done and cant wait for the next update~

Its no worries about the wait. I'm just always excited about reading your stuff. But for this chapter, the fact that she's fed up with not having him and that she cant have him in reality, but she's figured out a way to get her dream and his (even if he diesnt know it) within the dream realm but they both then have to wake up and she has to go about the day like nothing happened and he's down in ponyville with no memory of what happened. They both get their dream come true, but only within a dream. Its wonderful and tragic. Its so sweet and cruel. And I can only think of all the drama and romance this story will have. Its dripping with so many subtle hints at what could be and at the same time, we dont know what could happen till you write the next chapter.

Now thanks to my overactive imagination, I've already imagined how the entire story will end, and it'll have lots of sad feels..
A dream (controlled by Moony) where James and
James will be completely unaware that it's all just a dream and years go by (in-dream).
As the years go by Moony will get sadder and sadder knowing its just a dream..
James (more-or-less) will eventually die of old age and is told on his deathbed that it's all just a dream. A beautiful dream that can never be

4177960 I meant that EVERYTHING in this fic made me feel for poor Nightmare, her constant pining for her beloved, her inner turmoil because of her doing things she knows is wrong. her respect as well as loathing for Fluttershy.
While I understand Nightmare Moon longs for James, her actions are not just. Sooner or later, she will have to face the consequences. I do not wish to see her punished, but she will be if she continues to do so... Luna is also a dream jumper, what if she stumbles unto Nightmare Moon's creation? It will only be a matter of time before she finds out and informs Celestia.
I love your writing, and you know that. But this takes it to another level.
After FINALLY getting around to reading what you have up of this, I am left speachless.
As the man of music that I am, I cannot begin to describe how I felt when I heard the music while I was reading this. Just... wow. It brought tears to my eyes in some places, it made me actually feel even more so for the characters ( how? I don't know, what with your superb writing already maxing out the feels meter).

Definitely an interesting decision to have this from NMM's point of view. Will it be like this throughout the entire story?
I hope she doesn't have too much to juggle in the future between continuing to create this dream world while .along sure Luna and their father don't stumble on it as well as keeping it hidden from Cynder.
Nightmare deserves happiness too
Even if NMM will never be with james its quite interesting that she dreams up realms and worlds where they are tbh. It would be weird if she tries to do something but seeing as she's willing to create worlds for this in dreams if it got worse I could 100% see her try to claim him without permission and assume command of him as "hers" so to speak.
I can tell this might be one of two things, A. Part of the next arc for the main story or B. Part of a sorta mini-arc that nightmare moon and james go through. Or possibly something different all together
