An interesting setup, to be sure. The lengthy digression on Pony Russia was a bit wordy, but presumably necessary to establish what's going on. The bit about Twilight crying made little sense, but I assume Spike's 'condition' will be explained in better detail later. These three being fellow students and thus allies is an interesting concept, and I look forward to seeing how the dynamic develops.

You failed grammar here, the correct form is 'Союз Коммунальных Советских Республик' . However, in modern Russian 'Коммунальный' is used in only one meaning in idiom 'Коммунальные услуги', i.e. services like electricity, water, sewer providing and garbage utilization. I believe, you wanted something derived from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communalism (full form would be 'Союз Коммуналистических Советских Республик' HOWEVER it is much more pleasant for a Russian ear to hear 'Союз Советский Коммуналистических Республик) or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism ('Союз Коммунистических Советских Республик' or 'Союз Советских Коммунистических Республик').
