After a hard day's work of being a princess. Twilight becomes annoyed from Spike's complaints about his duties, so to prove that her job is harder than Spike's, she decides to swap races with him and leave Spike as the temporary Prince of Magic.

it was very enjoyable im surprised this idea was never an episode but im a little saddened that we didn't get celestia doing something crazy
It is a well written story, the characters are clearly in their personalities, especially Princess Celestia
Small, enjoyable read with story that could be in the show and nopony would see a difference.
Twilight and Spike don't look that much different from each other if they changed species.
This honestly feels like it could be part of the show.
