"Well, you would have been MUCH more helpful if you just told me what was under that grave, now wouldn't you?"

Nestled between the Foal Mountain range lies a quaint little village called Hollow Shades. And just a few miles down the road, a lone cottage stands in the shadow of a place known only to the locals as Marigold Hill. It's known as a cemetery with only a single grave marker, positioned at the peak. Grimstride, the self-proclaimed groundskeeper, chases away anypony that comes near, shouting muddled and disquieting warnings at them. Some wonder what the meaning of the lone marker is from afar, as its true purpose had been lost to even the royalty of Canterlot. Though, such a juicy mystery couldn't possibly be ignored for long...

Nice little read. There were a few parts here and there when I was questioning if you were overusing a thesaurus or not ("scion of destruction"). If you do use a thesaurus, I recommend toning down its usage for future writings. It'll make your writing seem more natural, as in odd terms like "scion" aren't thrown about without knowledge of what they mean.

Well yes, I was using a thesaurus here and there, but ironically not for that specific word. I was trying to make him sound like one of those 'doom and gloom' priests preaching an impending apocalypse. Also, I kinda banged up around 1200 words in about one sitting :applejackconfused:

I really need to stop doing that, especially since I've got more time to work on these...

3872751 Here and there is fine. I was talking about extreme use, like every other word. I was internally debating if you were using a thesaurus borderline extensive, but I guess that just makes you a pretty good wordsmith.

Wow, now Discord was right with his "predictable'' theory about the grave! :pinkiegasp:
I'm excited to see how this goes on!
