The Spears of Chaos are a terrorist group who had relished in Discord's chaotic reign over Equestria, and practically worshiped the God of Chaos. But when they learn that Discord is no longer evil, they are disgusted beyond belief. Seeing that Discord is no longer fit to hold the title of God of Chaos, they release their new idol from her stone prison in Canterlot to aid them in plunging Equestria into eternal anarchy. After all, who better fit the bill than Screwball, who happened to be Discord's spawn.
Now, as the Goddess of Chaos, Screwball intends to fill Equestria up to it's knees in randomness. But without the Elements of Harmony to stop her, how will the Mane Six stop the little abomination? More importantly, will Discord have to intervene?

"I mean no offense, but the reason discord is such a overwhelming foe is because of him being a chaos spirit. While not unkillable, the chore of killing him is nothing short of herculean, and the destruction left afterwards apocalyptic. Not to mention it turns out or intervention, though we viewed ourselves as outmatched, was more of a stalemate. Discord is proud and arrogant; we must of brougth some form of fear into his heart for him to rely on another power to bind me and my sister.
"Put simply, a demonically possessed filly is not going to be much of a challenge. She is as vulnerable as any being of stable flesh. Besides, if need be, we can always expose her to tatzlwurm toxin."
3857840 You do make a decent point. But for this to work, i had to make Screwball a bit more than just a filly possessed by demons; in this case she's a demi-goddess of sorts, who happens to still be a child. Same powers as Discord, but a little bit more unstable
3857840 . And it would only make sense that a being literally made from chaos would be prone to the only thing that was able to stop her dad. As for why Luna didn't stop the Spears of Chaos and Screwball right then and there...well, that'll be answered next chapter.
Bottom line is, if i made things too easy, your stuck with a boring story.

1. Yeah she did. Doesn't mean the Spears of Chaos can't just interrogate her to find it.
2. In theory, he could. But look at it like this. Would you want to kill your own daughter?... Didn't think so. At this point, he's just trying to get her to stop acting like a spoiled brat trying to replace him.

3878158 you know, I'm not even really sure why I put the dark tag there in the first place. It can get a bit difficult to make a story dark when Discord's around. I may end up just removing that.
