The Doctor regenerates into her eleventh incarnation, a loud-mouth, competitive rainbow colored Pegasus mare that switches constantly between total lethargy and extreme hyperactive energy. Also she explodes rainbows when she goes too fast. Gonna have to work around that somehow.
After crash landing the Tardis, the Doctor meets Scootamelia "Scootaloo" Pond, a young filly with no one around her to help when she needs it.
Now armed with a new companion and body, the Doctor will now travel the universe to solve the mysteries surrounding the Crack, the Silence, and the mysterious Rarity River Song...
In case it isn't completely obvious, this is a Doctor Who crossover fusion fic, and will contain massive spoilers to Seasons 5 & 6 of Doctor Who. If you are not a fan, you will get lost. Otherwise, enjoy this tale of absurd proportions.

1. Just a refinement suggestion for your title... Instead of "The Doctor Dash", I might suggest "The Dashing Doctor" for better wordplay.
2. I am guessing by the character tags that Rumble will be taking on the role of Rory Williams to Scootaloo's Amelia Pond? You do need a Rory to go with your Amy.
3. If you really want to keep things within the Cutie Mark Crusaders, yet story-twist things...
~ a. Scootaloo = Amelia Pond
~ b. Apple Bloom = Rory Williams
~ c. Sweetie Belle, Rarity, and Minuette (Colgate) = Professor River Song. All the same River Song, but different points in time and regenerations, as befitting the character in the DW-series.
4. Considering you have a fan-fiction using Applejack as Captain Jack Harkness, it might be better you tied the same character to this fan-fiction, rather than have another pony for the role. Such overall story ties and cohesion makes you the Author look clever.
5. Oh, and you should include a Doctor Whooves character-tag, even if he is not in the fan-fiction directly, it is part of your central story theme & premise.

Originally, it was part of Captain Applejack Harkness, my other story. I was going to have Applejack find out all five of her friends were the Doctor, and that her search for him had ended in the most ridiculous way possible. I scrapped that idea when I realized that it completely screwed up the entire plot.
So basically an aborted story idea, then rehashed into this piece of randomness.

On the whole serious/hilarious issue, I'd cast my vote for serious, but still kinda light-hearted. Awesome and exciting rather than grimdark, if you know what I mean. Sorry if that feels like vacillating, but it's how it is.

Carrot Top is one of The Master's incarnations? Oh, wow. I'm going to make the unsupported assumption that she clashed with the Applejack Doctor.
On that note, it could be fun to see flashback chapters of previous Doctors' adventures, because while the Rainbow Dash Doctor is as awesome as one would think, the others would be exciting to see as well, maybe to give a little contrast in their behavior.

The situations are the same, but the characters are different. This is basically a story wondering how Doctor Who would have been, but with entirely different personalities. If Rainbow Dash was a genius alien that traveled through time and space, how would she solve the problems? That is the whole point of this.
