81 years have passed since Princess Celestia defeated her sister in a battle, and sent her to the moon. Rebels who supported Luna tried to rebel against Princess Celestia, who she defeated with a simple spell. Realising how much power she had and what she could do with it, she changed Equestria for the worst. She ordered her army to set fire to anything and everything belonging to anypony who stepped out of line. And from that day on, The Pony Games began, a reminder of the Princess's power and how nopony should rebel against her again.

Awesome story so far, but I would think about you getting an editor. The fanfic has some grammar issues, and I think an editor would really help clear it up.
I am actually liking this story, though I still do have a couple problems with this, in example, if the drawing for Pegasi was clearly in Cloudsdale in Fluttershy's flashback, then why was it in Ponyville, a town consisting of mostly earth ponies? Also, if Nightmare Moon took over Equestria over a thousand years ago, then how could the mane six possibly meet? Let alone even exist?

3734363 I see what happened; In the show, there was only one reference to a mayor, the mayor of Ponyville, but there was never a reference (That I know of) of a mayor in Cloudsdale so it was safe to assume (for me anyways) that it was in Ponyville, especially with the drawing for the earth ponies being held in Appleoosa, instead of Ponyville.
