I've been watching the big heroes from the shadows, seen them put on a pedestal and celebrated by the crowd. It's better this way... no one pays any attention to just another pony in the background. I've avoided a lot of trouble like this.
I'm not here to do the good thing, keeping to some sort of pure ideals. I'm here to do what I think is the right thing to do.
I'm here to do whatever needs to be done.
This is the first larger anything I've ever tried to write, so any and all suggestions and criticism are greatly appreciated! Cover art is out there somewhere, and I have only to track it down and subdue it into my service.

Thank you though, had I known someone who writes as well as you was going to do this...well, I probably would have either spent way more time on it or just given up completely.
Oh! I forgot to comment here! Ok so, my initial thoughts on this are that this reminds a lot of a mix between James Bond and Batman. Even with these stereotypes, you have done well to go a bit further in characterization than a suave bad-plot wandering hero. I already love Bright Spark and her little quirks, the internal debates with flux are definitely fun, and you have a lot of good, vivid imagery. I applaud you on your writing skills (not to mention being a bit jealous) and will be eagerly awaiting more to this story.

Woo, harsh judgement! Love it! Thank you though, I'm all for posts that are just straight up support, but as I'm still way new to this scene I cannot offer you enough love in return for this. I will admit that Flux has the kind of darker side that is brought out in both Bond and Batman, though I hadn't intended for him to be the generic dark guy like that. Now that you mention it though I will definitely be trying to be deeper than that with how he's portrayed. Heh, well Bright Spark is actually a friend's brainchild, so I can't take all the credit for that. Glad you like her, though! Flux's internal struggles though are sure to be a constant part of this because a lot of time that's how I think, so it's good people are liking that. As someone who's totally new to the writing scene, that gives me a bit of hope that perhaps I won't totally fail at this after all. Again, thank you much for all this!
Wow. I'm really loving it so far. It is one of the minority (I find) of stories that are written in such a way: It seems to be closer to a piece of poetry, insofar as that it is so full of imagery that it is as much an experience as it is a storyline. I am looking forward to more from you.

I will hunt down and destroy whoever sent you to this linguistic abomination. That said, I do offer my thanks to you for your support. I do have more coming, but I've been so busy I haven't had a lot of time to work on it, but know that this journey is far from over.
I have to say, certain parts felt a bit disjointed, but overall, I am intrigued and want to read more. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
