Evidently, they clearly require the assistance of the finest in their respective guard regiments to act as their private bodyguards, couriers, and other such jobs that would be easily done by someone else.
Is there a bigger reason behind it?

Clestias Guard just seems way too OOC for a guard. Sure this is supposed to be a comedy and fiction (or a fiction, fictionception) but cutting of Celestia mid speech is a pretty rude move and even more so to your superior. Rude is not informal.
Damn. I wanted to know what one of the others had called Celestia. Celestia called Luna "Eye Candy", Luna called Cadance a succubus, I was hoping Cadance had made some sort of regrettable remark to Celestia.
Also yeah. Sharp Eyes, semi-author-insert or no, is a bit too cavalier to get away with it scot-free. I'm expecting Celestia to either become exasperated with him over time, or start trolling him to make up for it.
