That awkward moment when Velvet finds out her daughter was the useless alicorn in the story, dood... shit, I made myself sad... god dammit writers, why did Twilight do next to nothing in that episode, dood?
Statistically speaking, Velvet should have known that the blue pegasus looks ALOT like one of Twilight's friends, and if Daring had a description of the others wirtten, then the pieces would have fallen together that it was her daughter and co. with Daring... then she'll get super depressed (much like myself) that all Twilight did was play "Keep Away" with a gold ring, dood.
All that power and she does one maybe two things, dood, I is disappoint MLP writers, dood.

The idea was funny, but the relentless cursing made the execution so tasteless and 'unponylike' (yes, that's a word now) that I couldn't really enjoy it.

lol Funny. But, who's to say Ahuizotl is dead? Also, the 'years of heat thing' could easily be explained by a field of magic that enhances the heat of the sun, like a sunhouse effect.
Secondly, who's to say that the book started with the scene from the episode, eh? After all, it seemed like she had had that ring for a while in her hiding.
As for Velvet.... it was ASSUMED that she was the author of Daring Do due to her having awards with Daring Do as the name. But, it never specifically stated that she was. She no doubt has something to do with Daring Do though, so possibly she's like an edittor or publisher or some other important job in regards to the book series' release. And, Twilight never said how she knew what she did. Her mom is likely how she ended up learning of Daring's home address, more than likely.
Lastly, she HAS met Twilight's friends before. She was at Cadence and Shining Armor's residence, after all, so she no doubt knows Rainbow Dash's name along with the rest.
Still though, funny way to put your own distaste for an episode in fic form. XD
I was going to write a blog about Daring Don't (want this to happen anymore), but this hate-mail fic nails what's bugging me about this episode with more vim and vigor than I could muster. (Tommy Oliver rakes Daring Don't over the same set of coals.) All I can say is...better luck next week?

This episode was pretty dumb, and I'm annoyed that the Mane Six didn't act like they were powerful at all, despite being seasoned combatants who have saved the world many times and defeated countless monsters and villains.
Heck, even Twilight alone should have been OP enough to complete this quest.
I still give it a 10/10 though because fuck it, I'm an addict.
Also, since Twilight has Earth Pony attributes now, wouldn't this make Velvet Tribalist against her own daughter, kind of?

Oh, no, I love it! I love arguable criticisms buried underneath several tons of RainbowBob's unfunny vulgarity and spitefulness towards the viewer, as opposed to the snarkiness and indignation that more competent "funny" reviewers/riffers such as Rifftrax and Retsupurae have. I love it when all the fic has to offer is a long list of swear words and not a single valid "joke". I just absolutely adore unfunny, poorly edited and vitriolic trash being stuffed into my notifications. I love it when RainbowBob once again shows that he clearly has no fucking clue how people actually talk in this world.
Because I don't pick apart the episodes of a fucking children's TV show, because I'm not a total fucking loser.
