Considering what Lance did to his daughter, but also considering how much he loved his wife, I can't tell whether or not I should be entertained by his suffering, or if I should pity the poor bastard.
I'm also noticing a very consistent theme with the man; He is unable to take full responsibility for his actions. Yet paradoxically, he loathes himself. You've characterized the good- I mean bad doctor quite well.
And the monstrous alicorn abomination is terrifying. Is she an expy of Pyramid Head? Because I can't stop imagining the sounds she makes as moans of pleasure every time she mutilates something or causes pain.

310547 Between pity and entertainment, The obvious answer is both. Silent hill (and silent ponyville by extension) is a place of penance for sins and untouchable pasts. Enduring the penance is a vindictive justice for us, the readers (and players), but serving his sentence for his evils, we may also now forgive him slightly, and grow pity to replace the anger we previously held as he suffers.

Yes there are. When he runs into an event in his story that he thinks would have been affected by an event in mine, he brings it to my attention and I give him the relevant information so things stay consistent. Fortunately the need for this is minimal because, what with everything before Silent Ponyville 3 taking place inside of a conveniently isolated Mind Delve spell, each story is fairly contained and only a few key facts need to be brought over from one to the other without spoiling all that much. I do apologize as I am far from the fastest writer out there, and I definitely got a bit overambitious while planning this story, but this arrangement will at least ensure that Jake can press forward with his own story at whatever pace he likes without having to wait up for me. I never expected Reunion to be canonized when I started writing it, and while I'm certainly grateful that it was I have to admit that merging it into the timeline while the both of us are working at different points simultaneously is going to have some rough edges. One of the hazards of multiple authors in the same series I suppose.

There are a few yes, but if I recall correctly they're either not at all that consequential or just reasonable extensions of events that had already taken place in Silent Ponyville 2 that I believe Jake had been planning to do anyway before I started Reunion. At worst it's pretty much like what Derpy did to the town hall at the beginning of The Last Roundup; you don't know EXACTLY what happened, but you can make a reasonable guess, and not knowing the specifics doesn't hinder the story.

I apologize for the lack of updates! There's been a lot on my plate recently and it's been difficult to get the writing done quickly after coming home feeling stressed out and dog tired. I know this doesn't make it okay that I haven't updated in so long, but I suppose an explanation of why is better than nothing. If it's any consolation, I do feel really freakin' bad about how slowly this has been getting written as of late and I'm still trying to improve in that respect.
I'll try and have the next part up by Monday or Tuesday night!

The things that I have occur seem out of place if you don't even know this exists. HOWEVER, if you are aware that at some point Lance went into the Mind Delve, then they're not as weird. Things draw out to a conclusion you would normally come to in my stories if such knowledge is true. Also, from what I can tell from the fans of my series who didn't bother to read this, they seem to have understood. Fluttershy 'forgiving' her father seems to have been enough for the events that play out to make sense.
Regardless of that though, Silent Ponyville: Reunion was actually my inspiration to get better as an author. I was literally blown out of the water by how GOOD Brony17 was and I suddenly realized I had competition within my own series (even if that wasn't true). So you'll notice a tremendous jump in quality from Silent Ponyville 2 to Silent Ponyville 3, and that's all due to Reunion. I give all my credits to this guy and his amazing work and more people should love it than they do.

While I am always eager for more Silent Ponyville, this one seems to have a lot of unnecessary fluff. Additionally, I am somewhat confused as to why the Call is being tossed around like hot potato. If Silent Hill(ponyville) was tossed around this much, it's a wonder the whole of Equestria doesn't know what it is by now.
But I got several chapters to go, so hopefully things get cleared up.

I went into this a bit unorganized. I have a storyline in my head that I'm going to keep following but I can't give you a solid chapter count on how much longer it's going to be.
That said, consider this story a side quest compared to Jake's main storyline in that you might enjoy it but it's not really necessary and can be pretty much skipped at will. As I said in a reply to somebody else above, I had no idea this would be made canon when I first started writing it, but even though at the time it was pretty much AU material, I still wanted to mostly keep my hands off of things Jake had already written about and stick to characters he hadn't explored all that much. You're not going to be confused at all as long as you know Lance had Mind Delve cast on him after Silent Ponyville 2. So feel free to go ahead and read the rest of Jake's stuff, I certainly can't object to somebody skipping an incomplete story after all!

Nice chapter, I really enjoy the tidbits of lance and posey's life before fluttershy that we get to peek at between the stressful situations lance finds himself in.
I'm surprising myself more and more with how much I like Lance as a character. I guess there's two kinds of evil; Evil for the sake of evil, and evil born of pain. The more I read about what he had with Posey... No, I don't think I blame him quite as much for destroying Fluttershy's childhood.
Also, Jesus tapdancing Christ, regenerating nurses? Thank God we never got those in the games. Deeeaugh
