You are the son of Brass Turret, father to you, Steel Sentry, and your brother, Flash Sentry. All you wanted was to waste away your days hiking and camping with your dad and brother, and spend your nights listening to dad's war stories and tall tales. This was all well and good, until one day, you began to live one of your dad's tall tales.

Am I the only one not bothered by that so much? I think there are plenty of reasons to hate on the game, but I dunno, reusing assets that fit and don't need to be totally remade doesn't seem that bad.
This was hilarious, but why were the griffions speaking Russian? And why did the second one say... something about waffles? That is some confusing Russian-in-English I've ever seen.
I was thinking on making a Ghosts crossover...maybe...

Because I wanted to make a billingual bonus joke. I was being very crude and colloquial.
Cho is the "peasant" pronunciation of "что" (what), which is pronounced as "shto" in formal Russian. "ловить вафли" means "to catch waffles", but it also has the slang meaning of keeping your mouth hanging open, like you're trying to catch something in it, like, say, a flying dick."

Well one, virtually all games reuse engines and upgrade them, it is VERY rare a sequel gets a full blown totally new engine, its just not cost efficient or even worth it from a development standpoint.
I can't comment on the plot, haven't played it : /
But again, this is literally one scene where they reused animation. Could they have re animated it? Probably, but (I'm assuming) they figured why make entirely new animations for something we literally already have animations for.
Again. I am really against Ghosts, I just feel this one little bit is picked on a little too much

3517801 it's a terrible thing to do when making a game. They make a new CoD EVERY year and manage to keep them decent but after Mw2 and WaW they started doing the same thing in every game. And that's the reason why I switched to battlefield I was so dissappointed in bo2 that I didn't even bother finishing campaign.

Because I don't know Spanish, and Equestria doesn't conform 1:1 parallels to Earth. I know Russian, and in my headcanon, Griffons have been analogous to Russians for the longest time.
But even more importantly, it's because I thought it'd be funnier.

Though if you want to know, looking at one of the Rorke files it says that the protagonists brother is his older brother.
Which, if you were ever remotely serious would mean that Steel Sentry is Flash Sentry's younger brother.

All I know is that "почему" means "why" and "потому что" means "because".
The second one's talking in past tense, too… Something about writing(?) and something about somebody loving something?
