I was going for a deconstruction of the fanon concept of Twilight going nightmare, crashing the wedding, giving every pony a big 'reason you suck speech' and then taking out her rage on Chyrasalis. One story I read had her force Chryssy to take the shape of her family and friends, and then she tortured and tormented her brutally while her friends watched. When I read that, all I could think of was…what if she HADN'T attacked 'Cadence' first?
