In the 7th millennium of recorded time, the Twelve Colonies of Ponykind are at war with their own creations, the robotic Cyponians. The Ponystar Fleet is on its way to the peace conference when they are caught in a Cyponian ambush. It is a trap, and at the same time the Cyponians launch a nuclear holocaust on the Twelve Colonies. Out of billions of ponies, less than fifty thousand survive. Ponykind is reduced to a wandering rag-tag fugitive fleet led by the last ponystar, Equestria. Hunted by the genocidal Cyponians, with foes within and without, they search for a new home, a shining planet known only from pony legend.
It is all OC ponies - sort of. Several of the characters bear some resemblance to the mane cast, and may be related to them.

Nope none that I can fine, though I have come across a piece of artwork that has Twilight in the uniform of the Colonial Fleet... she still look adorable.
As a BSG fan I'm quite pleased to see this, and though it isn't crossovered with just one BSG canon I'm still happy anyway. 11914 I saw the Twilight pic. In further explanation, I was a fan of the original before the new BSG came along, which is why I rather mashed the two together.
My apologies for any mis-spellings that make it past my proof-reading. I am mildly dyslexic, which means that sometimes I think one word and write another, usually similar word. I just noticed one that's been in the story description for weeks.

Thats a great Story! Well, i know only the old Version Battlestar Galactica from 1978 and don´t know how the New Version is. But this Storry is really, really good!
