Hah, that is good to hear! In truth this story was a lot of practice for me. I have a story in mind with the CMC and Pinkie, but I am not familiar with writing them. Besides wanting to write this story, I was able to put in Pinky to get a bit of experience writing her.

I think the reason I can write about it is because I was on the outside looking in as a kid too. You can really break down a situation when you aren't in the center of it. Things are complicated when they concern us. When they concern other people, however, insight comes much easier.

Well, she is a kid. From what she sees, he is acting quite rude. He talks her ear off, basically humiliates her inside the shop from his 'over reaction', and then plays a back seat driver. I don't think it is unreasonable to be a little testy after someone does all that.

Oh if you don't like it, that is fine. I was just confused by you calling it a Deus Ex Machina, since it could have easily been done without it. DEM is used for justifying something that makes no sense (the meeting) with a contrived plot device. The meeting makes total sense, that was just the way I chose to scene transition.

The main inspiration for writing this story was a total lack of well written Button Mash stories on the site. I mean, there was plenty of pointless clop (especially about his mom), but I couldn't find a single ButtonBelle story I liked.

Now that was an enjoyable read. Pinkie was a good match maker there, Sweetie's haughtiness was adorable throughout the fic. Nice little alternate take on the universe as to how they'd meet. I like it. Felt like it could of continued, but certain opens things up for many little adventures.
That was a great way to incorporate the Button's Adventures pilot into a cute story. Yeah the story ending in them falling love just isn't realistic. Both are way too young. I really liked this. Well done!
This is a really cute story. It's good that sweetie realized what he was doing too- so many girls just seem to forget that guys have their own ways of trying to get a girl's attention. Anyways, It'd be neat if you did another one of them playing minecraft (don't mine at night) from sweetie's perspective. That would be cool.

Sorry to disappoint, but that is not likely to happen. The existence of computers like that in Equestria just shatters my suspension of disbelief. Arcade machines, and even the 'Joy Boy' (which I consider little more than a 'Game & Watch') are probably the best we could get away with. Maybe a console game here and there. Computers and Internet and all of that just opens up a massive can of continuity worms I'd rather not get into.
Though maybe them playing a console/arcade game I could do. I'd have to design the game, of course. None of this 'Ponies play Call of Duty' crap. I have standards.
