We're Near Tha Same Princess

On one starry night Princess Luna stares at the stars in her beautiful sky. She had suffered what most ponies can never dream of. Banishment, pain, sorrow, hate, anger, all those emotions all at once.

Princess Luna is still not treated as Celestia, no, she is still feared, still hated, and still ignored. But Luna can only just stare at the skies and wish for someone like her.

Who knew Applejack would be the one?

Great story, luckily I love both Applejack and Luna, I have always thought them as equal and caring to each other, don't really think applejack as a background pony because she did have two episodes and maybe more all about her, so I think she is a bit more then just a backround pony. Don't ya think? can applejack like somehow come to dreams with luna with other people an sow her things luna does since being keeper of dreams and stuff. I think that would work possibblily.
