Pretty recently became a brony and am grateful to the power of the ponies that have broken a LONG standing writer's block!
Based in the magical land of Equestria, our story revolves around a young alicorn named Luna, who lives in the Kokiri Village. She was always different from the other ponies and when she is thrust into the position of hero, she will embark on a journey to save Equestria from the darkness that threatens it.

11191 Cheerilee's character is based on the Kokiri that teaches Link how to fight with his sword, I just decided to give the random bit character a personality and more of a role. She's going to be having a more important role in Chap. 2

This is an overall excellent story! Great melding with the story, and an excellent mix of character... Nicely done.

I love the way you handled the inventory for 2 reasons. Number 1 is Link could only ever really have 1 thing actively equipped in his hands at any one time. The other is that there was a limited inventory in ocarina of time, if I remember my games correctly, so the charm bracelet is an elegant solution...because saddlebags are awkward.
12235 Thank you kindly for your approval. I was nervous beyond belief when I was submitting the story so I'm glad that at least one person enjoys it. That's enough reason alone to keep working at it. The next chapter will be more battle oriented and is looking a little longer so far so it might take a little more time.

Quick update everyone!! The new chapter is finished! However, I promised my friend that he would always be the first to read my chapters. Not just promised, but Pinky promised.
And I, for one, do not want to break one of those. 
The chapter will be in the mail by the end of the day, so I should be able to upload it here by Monday.

And, the way I thought it, a kid staring her own impending death in the face would just FREAK OUT and throw the closest thing to her at it. It just happened to have been her dropped sword. I hope you all liked the chapter.

5467295 I am in the middle of rewriting the currrent chapters and continuing the story. I just feel i lost connection to it with how long it's been but i certainly don't want this story to die. As for how she reacts, I ultimately plan on her slowly getting braver and braver as she experiences more that life and battle have to offer her.
