10 ponies are whisked away to play a game of mystery, intrigue and cunning: The Mole!
In The Mole, 10 contestants face challenges to earn bits for the team...and possibly themselves. But there is a twist. One pony does not belong. This pony is The Mole! They work undercover to try and ensure the team gets the least amount of bits possible in the series of mental and physical challenges. Contestants have journals t keep track of who they think is The Mole and at the end of each episode, somepony has to be eliminated...And of course, through all of this, Derpy Hooves & Carrot Top will be providing hilarious commentary.
So who's The Mole? Can you discover who it is? Only one way to find out!

There will be small hints throughout the story that will hint to the Mole's true identity. See if you can spoil them all! And, if you do work out the moles true identity, please do not leave it in the comments, as it might ruin it for other people. Never even heard of the television show but the idea of it really hooked me. Throw in ponies and this could be awesome.
I love how you've interwoven them speaking to the camera or journal excerpts into the text. The first challenge was an interesting idea and so far it seems well written and entertaining. Definitely tracking. 
Oh and I am totally guessing the mole is Bon-Bon. Even at this early stage she seems a little too eager to befriend Trixie. Add to that she wasn't very angry about Lyra's misdemeanours and she's immune in the first round. Just a guess.

Well, not really. 
I can't spot any clues at all to who it could be in this chapter. Rarity was quick to defend Twilight, perhaps she was earning some points in her books? 
From that performance, it probably isn't Twilight. 
I'm still keeping my money on Bon Bon though. 
She doesn't seem to be actively helping much, then again only Twilight really got a chance to shine here. 
Why couldn't any of them have an evil moustache?! 
I'm betting that we're going to see AJ or RD leave next. They're not exactly the smartest ponies.
Then again, Pinkie might just answer them all randomly.

There are clues, however very subtle. 
At the end I plan to compile all of the clues that I used to hint to The Mole's identity...

I honestly thought you'd bump off one of the mane 6 though. Background characters are more fun as you can make up details about them, as long as they aren't too far-fetched from the fanon.

Fluttershy passed, and she thought it was Bon-Bon, but we saw Bon-Bon's thoughts on this, so she's either it or very good at faking.
My gut still says Bon-Bon, so I'm sticking with that for now.

To be honest I did away with Octavia for 2 reasons:
A. I planned who would go long before I started writing. I always plan ahead for my stories
B. And I found it difficult to write for her. The others felt more natural, to be honest.

Either Lyra is the most incompetent pony in the world or she actually is the mole. I mean, she's messed up on two of the three tasks thus far.
I'm beginning to reconsider my guess on Bon Bon. This would have been a very easy task to sabotage, yet she didn't. I'm actually starting to lean towards Rarity. She could have purposefully misconstrued the miming. Hmmm... 
I think Trixie is most likely to be the mole so far.
