Heh, quite nice, though I feel there's not a lot of background to it.
I'm not completely familiar with pony headcannon so I have no idea who Vodahmin is.
Some more background info would be nice, who Voadahmin is, what their intentions are, how the Nightmare was created, some of its history in Equestria (what it does). Is it the embodiment of nightmares or just something that feeds on ponies and their dreams?

Also, how did it react when Nightmare Moon took over Equestria (before she got sent to the moon, that is)?
One last thing: in the little narrative in the start, even though it's someone saying it you're still allowed to have paragraph breaks and stuff.

However, I did enjoy the descriptions of the various ways the Nightmare can kill and feed on dreams. I much enjoyed that part and the way it was written!
