It's Elizabethan-era French (Actually, it's still more-or-less proper French) for "Kiss-my-ass." It was used as an anti-French insult in the play "The Shoemaker's Holiday" and may have been a common one (there's a lot of anti-French rancor even today.) But here... kissing ass is a good thing.

4173484 your welcome. i still think it should be thee, if only because of the way she speaks in show, and the fact that she is speaking formally, as it is a ritual. its just a quality thing. IMO, it detracts from the mental picture. there are some other grammatical and punctuation errors, but this is the most jarring.

I understand what you're saying but there are two issues for me. First off, I like to maintain a connection to other stories, and keep Luna's We/Thee, I/Thee, I/You division clear. About the formality, you're right but Luna is very much in love, and it's not formal roleplaying. If you want to see formal roleplaying check out "Royal Hospitality" and "Kinky Sex Disasters".
