He would speak in a very old fashioned and ancient manner, if not in old English, such as "Thee" and "Thou" and the sort.
Raven: Eeeyup. At any case, you now see why you should never prank people. I just hate pranks..... Doesn't matter whether it's people who can take it or not. There's still a chance something like this happens.

Well you gotta realize, he's an ancient being endowed with the task of seeing people (and ponies) into the next life. He's probably seen so much in that time that talking as he normally would would confuse the grand hell out of us, so he had to use terms Fluttershy could understand.
