Spike has become isolated in his own home. Torn on the inside as he matures and his feelings grow more tempest towards those around him, he begins to look for a way to remain in the safe company of those he grew up around and to try and cure his 'cursed' existance. Continuing to lie to those around him as he searches for a remedy to his rapidly growing body and his strong possesive urges, he grows desperate. Upon hearing of an unusual traveling magician passing through, he decides to plead to the stranger for help. He gets more than he bargained for.
Soon he will have to choose between a life led by his own happiness or the happiness of those closest to him.
My first attempt at slightly longer fic. I'm going with a whole shady 'bargain' but not really at the same time. Once again rip me to shreds since it's my first time not writing a one shot.
*Edit* Adding the alt universe because its in the same universe its just things are changed after an event. It's explained later.

2960807 Eh I'm open to any idea of his growth but personally like It takes a village, I think it adds more depth to have Spike struggle from an early age to deal with growing up. But for this story, yeah he has geal with being much larger while still at relatively young age....for now.
All the awesomeness of being a dragon! Hard to believe Spike has to give up what he is just to be accepted and hopefully loved. If things work out as I suspect, our lesson will be not to.

Not much of a fan of his design but he's probably the best of the MLP villains up until Discord. Thought I'd give a shout out to him Plus he is convient when you don't want to talk about Sombra but still want to talk about dark magic

*headdesk* no no no. How is this fair? My biggest complaint with stories like this is that they keep their memories of where they came from. They cannot truly experience their new life without the appropriate memories and experiences that they would have gained in it. Forever they will be comparing their new life to the old until they demand to have the old back. Just....just no.
Oh and Spike. Twilight accomplished all those things because she hatched you, didn't she? If you were born a pony, how does she get her life, hmm?
Could it be that Set becomes that dragon now since you "sign over your life" to him? Do you want him to be in that position to influence Twilight and the Elements?
3040269 The memories thing will be be dealt with in the later chapters. As said in the earlier chapter Spike isn't really playing on fair terms. 'Set' is ambigous for now. The elements are irrelevent to him.
I can't really go any further without basically spoiling the plot.
Thanks for the comment and I understand your concerns. I may come back and edit the story if I feel I've made gaping plotholes within it but for now I am content on where I'm going with it.
