You've come very close to showing us a sorrow only felt by a creator toward his creation. I particularly like the idea of being driven by will. There are a couple of songs that kept popping up in my mind as I read it. Intension and Right In Two, both by Tool. If you haven't heard them, I highly recommend giving them a listen! There's a video where they play right into each other here.

I always love a God-Cord fic, not nearly enough of these and unfortunately, few really touch upon the concept of the ponies finding out that Discord is God. Or, in a case like yours, when he drops the act.

PS. In Chinese mythology, there is something called a longma, a dragon-horse, AKA a draconequus. And the dragon you're thinking of are called Longs in Chinese, so you're right on the Money.

PSS I find it insanely amusing that Hasbro created a character that, in appearance and behavior, can be seen like a Asian Dragon or the MLP version of the Devil.
