PropdowPony

E

Mysterious malignant magical maladies mutate many mares, and more!

If the residents of Ponyville thought Monday was a bad day, they're really not going to like what they discover about themselves the next morning! Ponies all over town are suffering from...unusual abnormalities, and the hospital is getting pretty crowded. Surely there must be a cure for all this weirdness...right?

Well done, sir or madem!

The internet. You won all of it. *parks the shipping fleet of trucks filled with internet outside the author's house* I hope you have a place to put the internet.:rainbowdetermined2:

2837561 I have a twin!:derpytongue2:

...that moment when the characters in the story actually realize something before you do.

Poor Dash...

Oh God, poor Dash...

Also: Snips is not an earth pony. Snips is a unicorn.

2844714 D'ohhh! :twilightoops: Thanks for catching that! Fixed.

It took me a minute to get it, But I got it. And I lol'ed.

As soon as they understood the connection, I was all like... :pinkiegasp: Oh no... Rainbow... RAINBOW !

Thanks for brightening my day, sir or madam ! :scootangel:

Woah bro, this was one awesome story. I loved the idea of mutations and how it was explained. :rainbowkiss: This could be an episode or something it's so creative and well-written, though I don't know how most people would take it. :trixieshiftright:

It wins everythings, even one a spot in my favorite story list and a thumbs-up. :rainbowdetermined2:

One long, winding buildup to a perfect punchline.

Delightfully silly!

Love it. The actual resolution, the fact that it actually makes sense- amazing, always love to see that kind of things :yay:

Wow, that was just GOOD.
I should have realized it was by colour in the first place.

This story would be right at home in the show "Adventure Time". (Yes, that's a compliment.) Upvoted and faved.

Great story! The "The power of Celestia compels you!" at the end just killed me.

...I have never read anything like this before, and I absolutely loved it. :pinkiehappy:

There was humor and suspense and complete randomness! When I found out about the silly nature of the mutations, my mind instantly went to Discord. When the cause of the mutations was revealed to be microscopic insects called tetramites that live in the Everfree Forest and were blown into Ponyville (thanks to Sassaflash :ajbemused:), I was genuinely shocked. Having the mutations depend on the victim's mane and tail color was absolutely brilliant. I never saw any of it coming. The strangest thing was, I thought that Rainbow Dash wasn't affected. Then I realized that not only was Rainbow Dash in Ponyville when the wind storm came along, but also that her mane and tail were rainbow-colored. Her mutations were as bad as I anticipated. :rainbowderp:

Overall, I loved this story. Of course the unexpected plot twists and surprising reveals were my favorite parts. Keep writing fun stories like this!

She tried to make her new mouth talk, too, but when she said, “Peter Pony picked a peck of pickles, peppers, pistachios, parsley, and pajamas” ten times really fast, only her boring old big mouth said it. Her boring mouth frowned in momentary disappointment. Though she was frightdelighted that her voice sounded so nasally.

Not the biggest alliteration I've heard.

It WOULD be, though.
