Well, I intended to give Pinkie the Weissritter. She and Excellen would be such a perfect match.

Hmm I wonder though. Who would go in what mech... Rarity NEEDS to be in a fairlion! Preferbly Fairlion R i think it is. As that one is... Princess Shines one.
And while I would love to see Rainbow Dash with the Cybuster and Masaki... I'm not sure how shes gonna react to his fricking super power of getting lost. As he got lost during a guided tour... Still though. RD will like the Cybusters speed thats for sure.
Now Fluttershy is kinda hard to place I think. But if I had to guese. You'd need to have the Fairlion L for the Royal Heartbreaker... And Early Lattooni fits Fluttershys personality so well that... It might work!
Applejack is probebly the only one I can see going into the Daizengar or Daigengar! So that would be cool...
As for Twilight though... Hmmm... She is the nerd of the group... so... SRX! Or just the R-1.
There those are my gueses for who goes in what mech... Even if it leaves out some cool ones... Like TROMBE! Well Elza- I mean Retsels mech whos name I cant spell for the life of me! Unless ofcourse the mechs will have there original pilots around aswell and not just the mechs. Though how you'll make that work I got no clue!
Now I could be totaly wrong! Still I'll have to say. I'm looking forward to chapter two!

Actually the characters from the SRW games are not going to appear because Equestria is a whole other world than earth, don't worry I'll explain this.
The SRX is the toughest one for me because if I give that one to Twilght and two of her friends it would feel a bit like I'm leaving out the others and the only three pony team I can think of right now is the cutie mark crusaders but there's no way any of the adult ponies is going to give them a giant robot with enough firepower to destroy a small country. And unfortunately while the Cybuster would be perfect for Rainbow Dash I already have a plan for her but since I'm planning to bring in some of the lesser seen characters there's still a chance to see Cybuster in action.
Also for the sake of pacing I planned to let them find the best robots half destroyed so that they don't get them right away. Like in the games they're gonna start with the standard mechs and slowly start to repair and reactivate the others.
As for Twilight, this is actually a great idea to make her a Ryusei grade robot nerd

Okey fair enough. Just made a little assumption due to your first reply about Pinkie and Excellen and them being a perfect match. Still if Equestria was Earth. That would have been intresting too due to La Gias and just Shu trolling Equestria and the Mane five would be fun too. But I'm intrested in seeing what you'll got planed.
As for the SRX there is an actual way to solve it BUT its just hasn't been in any of the OG games... yet. Its call the Banprios and its from SRW Alpha 3. ITs basicly the SRX that got totaly wreaked at the start of the game thats then rebuilt. Without the combination but that was planed for it. Its piloted by four people. Ryusei, Rai, Aya and Mai. And ofcourse it still uses the R-Gun so there the 5th member of them could be. Still... Five chars for just two mechs. Is abit... Meh. Even if its extreamly powerfull. I'd rather see more then less. But thats me.
And while there are alot of little groups in the OGs most are just duos. So I'd almost say that the R series is perfect for the cutie mark crusaders. Even if they cant transform into SRX. With there teacher taking the R-Gun powered and being like Villeta in OG2... Well thats what I would do anyways.
When it comes to pacing. Yeah that makes sense. And it also means GESPYS! ... Why do I now have a mental picture of Applejack in a orange gespenst doing the gespenst kick on a row of mooks...
Right. First off I see one thing. At the 6th time you wright Twlight. I think it should be. "Twilight and her friends" Not Twilightm. Well thats all that my dyslexia caught anyways. Still though here are my thoughts on the chapter overall. ^^
Nightmare moon. Oh my god she makes me think of Levi I just had to play her theme during the parts where shes active. XD Nicely writen that.
As for the fight scene. I thought it was well written for a first try and also taking into consideration the ponys nature. As I doubt they'd equip it with all of its weapons for a simple test run so melee attacks along with the T-Link Rippers made sense to me. The fight also kinda reminds me of the start of OG1 on Ryuseis story... Oh... dear... If this is going where I think it is... Fluttershy would make sense as a nurse at first onboard... That was Kusuhas role... If this is going where I think it is... Cant wait to see the ponys try out Fluttershys healthdrink based on an old recepie she found in the medical bay... And if it is going that way...

That was exaclty what I was going with when I decided for the T-Link Rippers. Ponies are pacifistic so it would only make sense that they see no point in trying out the weapons even though they have to learn how to use them now. Also yes the fic is going to be very similar to the games since I figured out the strategy/monster of the week approach is going to be perfect for slowly introducing the other mechs. Beyond that I have the most important plot points decided on so I can get this story from start to finish.
As for Fluttershy's health drink, I've already been thinking about putting silly little omakes at the end of the chapter to get the 'funny but not really fitting into the story' stuff out of my system.

Now for my thoughts I guese on chapter three.
I was at first abit disapointed over Applejack not getting a Gespy. But now that I think about it. A gespenst TT fits for Rarity and also. Using the Schutzwald in close combat could be training for getting Applejack ready for the Alteisen considering how heavy that thing is. So yeah nice distribution of the mechs along with the weapons to give some variation. Though. I'd think Fluttershy could also use a supply module as that would fit her personality aswell along with the Repair module. Then again just like with being not used to the weapons. I'd think they might not be used to the concept of Ammo. So maybe after a battle when they run out she can get that. Just a thought.
Anyways another good battle. It made alot of sense to me overall. Gonna be intresting to see where the plot goes with Luna so yeah. Looking forward to next chapter already! XD
18559 Thank you, my main reason for giving her the Schutzwald was more along the line of giving the PT distribution some more variety before the big boys show up.
Also for Luna, she's still in her pre-Luna Eclipsed fanon despiction with the HEAVY guilt issues but I still love the hell out of THE TRADITIONAL ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE and can't help but to imagine her doing the Gespy kick using that voice.

Now in the spirit of pointless speculation, everyponies current spirit commands!
Twilight: Focus(Hit and Evade up 30%) is a must and she probably has Gain(Exp doubled) given her speed at learning piloting.
Pinkie: Just has Strike(Hit set at 100%) for now.
Applejack: Probably has both Accel(+5 Movement) and Assail(Use any weapon after movement).
Rarity: I'd say she just has Alert(Evade set at 100%) for now.
Rainbow Dash: Given her style she HAS to have Valor(Damage doubled) and I want to say Focus.
Fluttershy: I'd say both Trust(Ally health +2000) and Cheer(Ally's Exp doubled) are a given.
Spike has Valor Strike Alert, and Scan(Analyze targeted enemy) has well has stats that are at least twice anyone else, but he can't reach the controls so that doesn't matter.

Well there is a saying here in sweden that goes something like this translated. "Those who wait for something good never waits to long." So yeah. No worrys here at least... I pass the time while trying to figure out how to make somethings work considering the continuity. Like how to put the Ialdabaoth into the fanfic... Considering it kind of evolved towards the end of OGG and then also the Shura left earth to find a new planet to call there own... Oh right that reminds me.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned earlier (and I'm to lazy to look) but what OG games have happend incase some moves might not make an apperance. An example would be like Daigengar and its original weaponry thats disabled in OG2 are enabled in OGG so it can use a boost knuckle type move and a chest blaster type move. Hope this makes sense. ^^;
Are you still planing to use them?
Also, are there any other units beside banpresto's that you'll be using?

This one is strictly OG1 and 2. But maybe I can write another crossover when I'm done with this one. The storyline is would be a little difficult since that would be a crossover with a multicrossover. Then again I have a lot of time to think about that while I'm writing this one.
Nice chapter and as for the original idea... It kind of reminds me of SRW W and SRW Z2 if they where mixed line up wise. Gaoigaigar is in W while Getter Robo Armagedon is in Z2. So could also have used W's OG mechs for that one... despite how op they are in that game. <.< (Seriously Valcazard the last mech you get for the OG's has SIX spirit lists. SIX of them! Not to mention its two battleships + a Super robot + a Real robot whos combined into one mech... And it dodges like a real for me. <.< Then again most of my supers dodges like reals for me in that game...)
Anyways back on topic and the fanfic. A good one. And I think it was a nice choise to not introduce the Wildruptier yet. It was introduced abit after the Hagane launched in OG1 so it would make sense to wait with it too. ^^ I liked it and Spark is growing on me thanks to this chapter... I'm gonna have to read it again later when I'm not as tired as I am atm and see if i pick up more stuff then i do in my current tired state. But yeah. Nice chapter overall imo. ^^
First of. Nice chapter. And a speedy introduction of the two main ATX mechs. Just like in the games. Even if they aren't really in the chapter just being spoken about. Hehe this is gonna be nice. Also. I think. Though I'm not 100% sure. The SRT anime Divine crusaders might have some ep when you get to see the wildruptier transform. Not sure though. I'll probebly look through the episodes to try and see if there is anything. Though the transformation felt like it was right. Though I suppose Zeta Gundam was the inspiration for the Wildruptier so maybe looking at how the Zeta gundam transforms can help with writing the Wildruptier. Just sugestions here ^^
Also I do like the part when they talk about them kind of fighting a war. It makes sense. And the reactions are good too ^^ I didn't expect the Royal Canterlot Voice this early but hey. It was a plesent surprise. Over all. Its looking good. And I do like how they are getting the supplys. Though. I'd think the Gaurlion might have been better for that personaly but thats me.

great, a so called "revolution" (more likely an insurrection) of earth ponies extremist is brewing and it's so called "rightfull motives" are more darker than Nightmare Moon herself, meanwhile a personal trooper is being transfered to Canterlot and it looks like that Celestia and Luna will be able to pilot one of these as soon as they're put into mass production, I just hope that this conflict doesn't turn into something like the One year war in the Unversal Century 0079 or any subsecuent conflict, if not I can see where this is going trought...

The SRW are also what got me into the mecha anime genre. Currently I'm going through all the Gundam series, started with the original series and Gundam X and I've also watched about 9 episodes of Gundam Wing and Gundam 00 and continuing. My favorite Gundam so far is Exia from 00.

So Terra Firma will be more of a simple and (and failed) uprising mostly because nopony elise (incluiding almost all the earth ponies) gives a bit about their so called reasons... I Will be waiting for the whole First battle/last stand/one-sided battle if those feather brains think they stand a chance against the Mane 6, the Kurogane and the now Personal Trooper battallion of the Royal Guards, withouth counting probably the very first Equestrian MADE Personal Troopers of Princess Celestia and Luna (I suspect that they will have transforming capabilities and conbination/fusion modes in which both units would become parts of one more powerfull eventually the mane 6 will have something like that I supose)
and I hope that you keep going in your search of more Gundam... my favorite one is the WING GUNDAM ZERO CUSTOM

Terra Firma does have a considerable number of supporters, even a few stray unicorns and pegasi that, like Spark, feel that their earth pony friends and family members are treated unfairly and those supporters are 100% behind them. Also it would be boring if they would be so easy to defeat for the mane six.
416280 When you put it that way I can see a great stalemate when the uprising comes, but by then, Twilight and the others in the Kurogane will be the most experienced pilots of all, so that's why I was saying that it would be almost a one-sided battle against them (will you base an Royal guard Personal trooper in resemblance to Mobile-Suit Gundam: 08th Mobile-Suit Team?, althought in this case will be the 08th Personal Trooper Team)

And This is the ressult when a N00b troop fresh out of the StrormTrooper Marksman Academy encounters and try to fight veteran pilots... unfortunately, It looks like Twilight has just done her first kill and by consecuense, the first official kill of the M6 team, looks like Twilight is going to be down for while until somepony BRIGHT SLAP her onto sense(I VOTE FOR SHINING ARMOR TO DO THAT! and somehow, I think this is going to be made as well to the others M6 and Derpy for their own sakes)
So now with the first official Attack of the Terra Firma insurrection movement now Equestria will be fighting two fronts(of possible four for now) So now I do hope that Shining Armor and his 08th Personal Trooper Team, Second Personal Trooper Division (Military speaking The M6 and Derpy will be Listed as the 01st Personal Trooper Team, First personal Trooper Division, while any other Pilot of the Kurogane will be the 02nd, 03rd,04th, 05th, 06th and 07th Personal Trooper Teams from the First Personal Trooper Division with the Kurogane as a Flagship and Headquarters so in a way of speaking, they stopped being civilians the momment Nightmare Moon returned and Attacked them and inmediatly became art of the Equestrian Militaryalthought I wouldn't be surprised if the Mane Six was Listed already as a Special Forces Squadron with actual Milirtary Ranks for each one of them since the frist defeat of Nightmare Moon and none of them even knew about it) speed up thir training and get ready for the incoming battles because if don't then they will have a bapatism by fire in the middle of a training drill in a Mobile Suit Gundam style of FUBAR... until a little foal highjack the most powerful Personal Trooper in the base and beat the manure out of the enemy by simply following the instructions manual he aquired in the midist of the chaos (I Vote for Pipsqeak to pull an Amuro Ray in the middle of a royal Guard Base)
Now the next question will be, When will the CMC and Dinky will pull an Amuro Ray and became the 03rd Personal Trooper Team: CMC(or simply Crusaders) and I assume that the 02nd Personal Trooper Team will be made of by the enginiers and arecheologists that deside to go into training as well, and the rest of the teams will be in a way composed on that and their aviability to be deployed into the field will depend on how many PT's have already managed to restrore and get them combat ready at the time

Also, I actually have another Bright Slap planned, try to guess who receives it. Also, I admit that the attack happened pretty much just so Twilight can accidentally shoot that pilot, although it can be justified since the Lion pilots don't have as much experience as Team M6.

While I would like to see Twilight get Bright Slapped by Shining Armor, what ever you have in mind will work just fine.
Thought if you don't mind me adding some input, I personally think that the CMC (Dinky Included) are the next generation of the SRX team with Scootaloo piloting R1
, Apple Bloom piloting R2, Sweetie Bell going for R3, and Dinky in R-Gun. That would be awesome!!!
