You are just, fantastic. I have not had a story in which I would stop what I was doing to read this. This is such an awesome story!
Also, High Rise Records is a great name for a music company.

You got my mouth stuck in the 'D'awww' position...I think i'm going to need surgery. Anyway, this is just fantastic, when I saw that it had updated I literally did a spit take with hot coffee in my mouth...trust me it wasn't because the coffee was hot...and it wasn't because my sister was standing in the line of fire(ha that'll show her never to touch my guitar). Even though there was a chance I had a broken tooth after my sister shoved her fist down my throat I disregarded it and started reading and i'm happy to say that whatever amount of blood I lost was worth it! Now if you will excuse me I have to go to the hospital, I think there's a couple of chipped teeth lodged at the back of my throat.

This has been an amazing OctaScratch fic. I liked your characterisation, and thoroughly enjoyed the emotional level of things. I could say a word or two about pacing, but I'm not a master of pacing, myself.
The ending is sweet and by no means far-fetched. All in all, a very solid story.

I agree with the pacing issues you guys saw, and part of the reason for that was I realized as I was writing I should've made it 2 chapters... but I had said I was only gonna do one. Was trying to decide if I should do the two chapters and correct myself, but I didn't know where to put that so people would see it. It was my fault assuming I could fit it all in one chapter, and I tried, but this ending really annoys me to be honest... I got frustrated and just gave up. Chances are I'll fix it later, but I really don't feel like it right now.

I said it once and I'll say it again. What is this like 10 chapters? It easily could have been fifteen, maybe twenty depending on if you played your cards right.

Again though, this was incredible, and I cannot stress the fact enough.

Its over I love how you made Sara's ex Octavia's best friend and roommate, it's kinda cool that they bonded over their break-ups, whether they talked to eachother about it or not. Also, Vinyl creating her own record label and sending out her and Tavi's music was actually a smart way of reaching out to her, even though there was a chance that Octavia would never hear it.

This was an awesome story and worth being read a thousand times over. Thank you for this

Ive recently gotten into reading OctaviaXScratch fics and this is one of my favs. It was strong from start to finish and didnt stick around longer then it should. Like a lovely roller coaster
