So yeah, this is a Vanquish/MLP mix. If you haven't played Vanquish, I suggest you go and pick it up. It's very cheap these days and is an amazing third person sci fi shooter. If you're into third person shooters, you'll love it. Anyway, enjoy!

These stats about Sam Gideon and his ARS suit are important to note. The ARS suit would allow Sam to outrun Rainbow Dash and punch out a full-grown dragon. It's very powerful, probably moreso than you realized — although I haven't read through the story yet.
Sam is actually the guy who designed the ARS suit for DARPA. Yeah, I know he doesn't act anything like the "egghead engineer" stereotype and has a demeanor like a college drop-out military grunt, but in reality he's arguably a genius engineer.

You know there is one thing that always bugs me is when ponies think that they have the right to order others around or when characters are to open to others to quickly.
The pacing is fucked Sam answered like three or four questions and suddenly it was night. WTF There was no indication that that much time had past.
See at least the author acknowledges that the shipping was to fast.
