Looks like Twi-Two ended up pulling a 'Master' after all. Silly Little Filly, didn't the Doctor's memories show you that going bad and being on the opposite side as The Doctor NEVER works out. Here's hoping The Doctor and Twilight can keep this timeline from ever happening.

One thing I love about it is how you manage to keep the rating and spirit of MLP uncorrupted. Note that the Queen has yet to actually 'Kill' anypony (Whereas Doctor Who constantly kills off minor characters) and yet still keeping things at the edge of the seat. Also, is anypony else seeing a corilation between Rose Taylor/Sarah Jane Smith and the current Twilight/Rarity relationship.

How can you write like that? Seriously, timeslip is bad enough, having to keep track of one timeline, as you skip back and forth along it - but then twisting the timeline around on itself, and throwing in additional timelines, and paradoxes too? It'd be enough to drive me to distraction! And you do it so well! Honestly, I'm surprised the BBC haven't contacted you to write a story arc or two.

... And did he just say it gets a lot more complicated? How can it get more complicated?! I mean, I get temporal theory and dimensional mechanics on a philosophical level (meaning, whilst I get the theory, I won't exactly be doing temporal bloc equations any time soon), but trying to keep track of three... four different times of the Doctor, whilst bearing in mind that at least one of them is likely to be an alternate timeline Doctor, and that there's probably paradox induced insanity ocurring somewhere, all whilst the different Doctor's keep infringing on each others' spatio-temporal domain, is getting to be a bit much. If it get's any more complicated, I'm afraid I'll have to start worrying for your sanity.

In anycase, thanks so much for the complement! Writing this way is something that comes from obsessive whovianism I suppose. It's not that hard once you get the hang of temporal space trigonometry, and have a vague knowledge  of Paradox theory.

But yes, things get MUCH more complected in the next chapter, which is part of the reason why it's taken me so long to get it out. But with any luck it will be out this Saturday. And with more luck I won't have gone insane in that time.

Reading through all the comments it appears as if I don't have to wait as long as some of you.  Though one part did confuse me, the Doctor has been telling this story to The Great and Powerful Trixie for about 2 years now, unless however I missed a trip through space and time aboard the TARDIS, but I am still left all .  Just look at the dates at the beginning of chapter 5 and chapter 7; plot twist?

Just a few changes to put it in the Hominid universe instead of the Equine, and you could get it published as a Doctor Who novel.

I've said all i needed to on Number 12, and of course it all applies, but you're upping the ante so much it eclipses the older story completely by now. In fact, I'm starting to see this Doctor as his own regeneration more than one of the past ones the further in I go. Which, at this point, is where the story cuts out for now. I'm certain this was the intention, and you've done a (to steal a word from 9) fantastic job of doing it.

This is the sort of high-stakes action I expect from a season-ending multi-parter. In fact, arguing that they're in an alternate timeline right now, I can comfortably compare this to "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday". Oh hey, especially considering the horde of Darlocks!

...this is the second time today I've looked at an MLP crossover on here and gushed about the other series it's crossed over with. I'm starting to question my priorities.
