This story is a sequel to Doctor Whooves Episode 11: Parents' Day
The Doctor, Twilight, Derpy, and the others return to 1002 and arrive right in the middle of Canterlot a mere five minutes after their original departure. They arrive to find a troubled pair of alicorn sisters and an eccentric stallion who knows the Doctor well. However, they also come across a Dalek who has named Princess Luna as its next target.

The Doctor staying in one place for awhile. Kind of like in The Power of Three. We also get another piece in the massive multiplayer crossover: An alternate MLP-verse populated human versions of the ponies. (And this preceded Equestria Girls by quite a bit!) Rereading these stories, I realize that Doc Perseus is good at writing these wonderful little heart to heart moments between characters. It really adds to it. 
First time around, I thought this Dark Doctor that we will find out more about in the next episode was an odd choice for a villain. Then in The Name of the Doctor, we see there was a Dark Doctor! (Apparently this was something that was rumored for some time. So, it doesn't necessarily represent an almost supernatural prescience on Doc Perseus' part. This was also suggested in the original Doctor Who series by The Valeyard if I've got my facts straight.) Probably the best moment was Celestia saving Luna by getting shot by the Dalek. For that, his still ranks as one of my favorite stories of the series. Though Work of Fiction and the Country at War/Angie the Great duology come close.

talk sense dalek! my biomask can screen out bits of recorded voices. and the doctors voice was a collage of different recordings. you fabricated that out of insanity and bits of recorded doctor voice!(dont mind me, being my usual, illogical self. i doubt what i just said was even true)
.........dalek. you just ended your entire species with that. after i resurrect celestia, i will fire all of my ships hybrid weapons through time,space,and dimensional barriers at your homeworld before your species becomes what it is. i will feel bad about it, but it means celestia will never have to die, you doomed your race, and my ship has the abiliy to rewrite time without causing paradoxes.
ok, celestia didn't die, but i will still kill the daleks before they become what they are. they pissed me off. one other being has made that mistake: Agent Carolina killed caboose. perseus, i like your stories, but do they have to be this close to actual episodes? i mean, its not a bad thing that they are, but all the death and whatnot...just doesnt belong in MLP in my opinion, good job anyways, i will continue to read, but i am also reading My Little Caboose II:Friendship is Fragmented, and that will now be updating 3-5 times a week during weekdays.
