This story is a sequel to Doctor Whooves Episode 7: The Good, the Bad, and the Derpy
The Doctor, the Mane 6, Derpy, and Spike travel to 4376 and find themselves on a luxury spaceship called the Queen Philippine, which is currently on its maiden voyage. What starts off as an interesting adventure turns into a fight for survival when the ship loses power and becomes host to some unwanted passengers.

Okay, time for some headfanon. That's right I'm going to headcanon a fan fiction. It's that good.
She's an earth pony with a red coat. Perhaps her father is an earth pony with a red coat. 
Then again, Rarity's father might be an earth pony. (And Doc Perseus speculated this in his blog's review of Sisterhooves Social.) So, Matilda's father doesn't necessarily have to be an earth pony. Matilda shares her name with a donkey from A Friend in Deed. Perhaps that's significant. Matilda has some Time Lord powers like River Song. Perhaps she was also conceived in the TARDIS. Most likely we have yet to meet Matilda's father. Very likely, Rarity will be traveling with the Doctor again, meet some stallion, they'll be in the TARDIS, yada yada yada Matilda. 
It's clear at this point that Matilda is Rarity's daughter.

I think it's clear at this point that they're both in love with the Doctor. And Pinkie Pie hilariously interrupted them before they could admit it.
I'm looking forward to the future episode where they come in contact with a substance that lowers their inhibitions and Derpy and Twilight fight each other over the Doctor! 
I wonder who would win though. Of course, the Doctor wouldn't be affected maybe because he's a Time Lord and Donna wouldn't because she's awesome. (And maybe Rainbow Dash and Applejack end up affected as well

I've noticed that not every fan fic author is good at writing the Mane 6. It kind of annoys me if they just happen to skip one and she happens not to appear in the story. Doc Perseus though is good at doing all the Mane 6 and they all see very true to the show. And once more, their interactions with the Doctor are just wonderful. Once again, we also see a complex MLP inspired Doctor Who-esque villain.

I'm fine with you liking Derpy, but Twilight and Rainbow is always going to be my OTP. Even if they don't get together, which I doubt they will, I'll still read because this is very interesting.

Y'know, after i rewarded some episodes of Doctor Who, I realized that this episode of Doctor Whooves takes heavy inspiration from the episodes "42" and "Journey To The Center Of The TARDIS", with the idea behind what's going on with the ponies being from "42" and the design of the afflicted from "Journey To The Center Of The TARDIS". Am I right in assuming this?

42 was definitely an inspiration. The similarities to Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS are just coincidences as I wrote this story well before that episode aired.
