It is the largest, most luxurious cruise ship anypony had ever seen. It cost more than 100 million bits to create, and its maiden voyage is the most talked-about bit of news in Equestria. And nopony would think twice to say it could ever be sunk.
Twilight Sparkle has received 6 tickets for the Titanic's maiden voyage, and all of her friends are more than excited to go. Leaving a moping Spike behind, Twilight and her friends board the enormous cruise ship, anticipating a luxuriously grand vacation. But, of course, you all know how this ends.

Why do i get the feeling that spike is gonna win a ticket in a game of poker and become the Jack of this story meaning he'll be the one thrown under the bus at the peak of the love story.

I'm really enjoying this story. Your prose is compelling, and even though I'm not a huge fan of the movie, somehow injecting familiar characters into the places makes the impending cataclysm all the more dramatic in foresight, if you get my meaning. Plus, I always like chapters that give the reader a lot to bite into, rather than just uploading like 900 words every few weeks.

Very nice character deveolopment, and yeah, good drama build up. Again, excellent story development. Keen on details too. Not one thing left unspoken of.
You may have missed a couple words though (I'm assuming it was 'playing card', not just 'playing...'). Still, really good on the technical side, especially for a long chapter.
I also find lots of parts funny, like AJ's and Fluttershy's declarations of being straight. That was rich.
The first thing I did when I opened this chapter was CTRL+F and type "draw me like." I was not disappointed.

As for the ship being completely gone, is it going to be Dash who finds Rarity floating on a piece of debris? Assuming she lives. Which she probably will, considering the amount of rage you'll get from 'Rarity is best pony' Bronies.
...wait, I'm asking for spoilers, nevermind. Just take that as me speculating.
I still think that Jack is gonna die and Rarity will get with Spike. Wonderful chapter, can't wait for the next one.

I was about to rage when I figured that RD was dead.
But then she fell from the sky, and I was all like
I'm a little confused, though. Was she stuck in the barrel for a couple hours, bobbing on the surface? Or was is underwater for a while, and she peeked her head out when it surfaced?

I practically peed my pants when Dash and Pinkie were imitating Rarity and Spike.
I was reading along, kinda confused about Spikes monologue thinking it was all in the present. It wasn't until the line where Spike was looking at Twilight board the Titanic then I realized...
"HOLY SHIT JACK WAS SPIKE THE WHOLE TIME!"
That was truly a great story, kinda sad to see it come to a close. Can't wait to see what other stories you got in store for us.

I thought this was a great read. Not only did it keep my attention but you were able to write the characters very well and not to mention the great shocking twist at the end.
so all and all fantastic job.
This has to be one of the best romance fics on this site. It's a shame that so few know about it. Definitely the best ponified fic for sure.
The characters are portrayed perfectly, and your own plotlines enhance the original story rather than detract from it.
Doing such a familiar story was a good idea with the reader in mind: you don't need to worry about the reader finding the plot too complicated.
Practically everypony knows the general outline of the plot, but it is an older movie, so it is still nice to read.
