In a world where Rainbow Dash witnessed an epic magical duel as a filly, the day before the Summer Sun Celebration was supposed to be just a boring delivery. It turned out Ponyville had something more in store for Rainbow Dash than she would ever have guessed.

After tragedy strikes, Twilight Sparkle and Spike the Dragon wind up with a dragon egg in their care. In a discussion about what should be done with the egg, much is said about pony and dragon relations as both Twilight and Spike reflect back upon their time together and their relationship.

Equestria is the homeland of ponies, surely one of the most powerful kinds that have ever existed. Ponies have control over the weather, magic, the sun, the moon and so much more. They have developed an unspoken pride for their kind that gave them overweening self-esteem. It brought them to completely ignore the other kinds of the world for centuries.
As the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle wants to renew with the other kingdoms of the known world. Thus she embarks herself into diplomatic visits. Accompanied by Applejack and a young airship captain, she is planning to visit numerous locations such as Griffonstone, the bat ponies’ caverns, Yakyakistan, the Minos Empire and much more in order to meet the chiefs.
But she wasn’t expecting to fall in love with her friend Applejack. Between diplomatic visits and her own feeling, she has to be a diplomat. A heart diplomat.

After the events of "The Cutie Remark," Starlight Glimmer stays at Twilight's castle until she finds a home in Ponyville and develops a new respect for her enemy turned mentor when she discovers that they both have something in common: that they once had sanctuaries that were destroyed by their most hated enemies.

Fluttershy and Discord are torn apart by him reading her diary, but Rainbow Dash is confused of why that would tear a relationship apart so easily. Soarin and her had fights all the time, but not once have they considered a break-up. Well, at least he hasn't thought about it. Rainbow Dash had plenty of reasons that a break-up would be necessary. But she doesn't find these feelings until a certain evening. Fluttershy's Birthday. By the end, Soarin and Discord, however, are not very happy. But they have to learn the hard way how to pay attention to their marefriends feelings.

Five years have past since Twilight and the Sparkle’s welcomed Spike with open arms into their home. Starting middle school should be easy for the young boy, right? If only things were so simple.

The reality is anything but. For once in his life Spike Sparkle wants someone to notice his pain, something he fought so hard to keep concealed in the past. But when the people you trust the most are too busy dealing with their own lives, sometimes you end up falling through the cracks. A lesson the little boy had learned all too well growing up, before and after meeting Twilight Sparkle.

Since moving in with the Sparkles, Spike never felt more alone in a house full of people. So when his family expects everything to be fine, how long can he keep up the charade?

The truth is never hidden for long, it wants to be told. When it finally is, and the young boy is pushed to the breaking point, it will change everything for him; and for the girl that changed his life.
