A MLP alternate story based off of human history. What one would consider the coming of darker and morbid times.

A dark and lonely night in the Canterlot archives is broken open when Twilight breaks in and roots through scroll after scroll, struggling to find a way to cheat death.

During a meeting with the queen and her council, Jarl Fluttershy finds herself at the recieving end of harsh tongues. Dejected, she finds solace

in the company of her bodygaurd/farmer, Applejack.

A new captain of the guard. A turnip farmer. Two immortal Princesses and all of their amazing subjects. A collection of stories both near and far, young and old, to show that even the most bland-seeming rock can contain a diamond in the rough, the small flame that shall light the way through the darkest nights, unto the break of day.

It's a bright, sunny day and everypony is busy. Rainbow Dash is practicing her stunts, FlutterShy is attending to her animals, Applejack's delivering orders of apples, Rarity is making a batch of dresses for an upcoming fashion show, Pinkie is helping out at a birthday party, and Twilight is practicing a new spell that she found from an odd spellbook. But little does she know what the spell actually does...

This story takes place within the storyline of The Chase. DO NOT READ unless you have read The Chase and understand what is going on. Seriously, just don't bother. The story will not make much sense and the events will be confusing.

A pony awakes in the mud with no memory of how he got there. He cannot speak, does not know what he is, or why he has knowledge of certain things, and he is unable to recall how he has learned them.

Taken in by Luna's Marauders, the strange pony is taken before Princess Luna and Princess Twilight Sparkle, who try to figure out who their mysterious visitor is.

Their number one priority is to figure out why he has both wings and a horn.

Placed a few years into the future, Princess Celestia is gone and Twilight Sparkle has taken her place. Equestria struggles to reach stability after a political war broke out. A stallion comes back home after the event that changed Equestria and finds himself struggling with his own stability. How will he manage to reach balance? Is he ready for the events that are about to unfold? Enter the journey of a tale, still not heard from. Chapters are based on Songs I've selected to give an idea of how the story feels. Hope you like it.

The princesses want to share a rare honor with Twilight and her friends. They will all journey to an ancient monastery where they can get in touch with new powers gifted to them by the Tree of Harmony. Unfortunately, to attend the monastery, Twilight and her friends must shave their manes and tails. Rarity cannot perform such an dreadful act without spending an evening saying her final farewells.

How many of you know what happened, on the moon, over the thousand years of Luna's banishment? Is the heart of somepony on the moon a shattered heart? A heart of hatred? Or a heart that has been set free?

Different ponies have different ideas, ambitions, different ways to be. Everypony is different, and without those differences this world wouldn't exist. This is a compilation of insights of varying ponies, and what makes them who they are.
